Catalyst Technologies’ Quality Spectrum software includes a module designed to report and compare rates for provider groups, employers, individual PCPs, geographic regions, and other small member groups.

4  Flexible methodologies for group assignment – as part of a small         group reporting project, you may specify customized logic to dictate         which groups are responsible for which members. The logic can be         modified measure by measure, and may be as restrictive or as broad         as you wish. Much like our chase logic for medical record review, the         assignment logic can draw on many different sources of data,         including enrollment, events, and detail claims. We provide suggested         defaults for each measure, giving you a good starting point for your         own ideas.

4  Peer-to-peer benchmark comparisons – make data more meaningful         by specifying the relationships among your small groups. As part of         our package of reports, we can compare each set of rates to those of         similar groups. Percentile rankings relative to the larger peer group         give readers the context to understand how good or how poor the         rates really are.

4  Production-ready reports – once the measure results have been         associated to the appropriate groups and the peer groups have been         created, the data is imported to Microsoft Access, where it populates         ready-made reports, suitable for review by the small groups. These         reports are easily customized to adapt them to the formats of the         health plan, and the presence of the data in Access makes it easy to         pull into other reporting tools as needed.
